Happy Thanksgiving!
11/24/24
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and all of us at Hidden Pet Fence want to wish you a joyful holiday! This time of year isn’t just for us—it’s also a great opportunity to share some festive and healthy treats with your furry friends. Many classic Thanksgiving foods are not only delicious but also packed with nutrients that are safe for dogs.
Plain turkey, carrots, mashed potatoes, green beans, peas, and broth are just a few examples of nutrient-rich options that your dog can enjoy. With so many of these ingredients available during the holiday, why not include your dog in the celebration? It’s a wonderful way to provide extra fiber, vitamins, and minerals—making it a win for both you and your pet!
However, it’s important to remember that certain foods can be harmful to dogs. Garlic and onions, for instance, are toxic and can often be found in Thanksgiving dishes. To keep your dog safe, we recommend setting aside their portion before adding any seasonings or ingredients that could be harmful. Once the vegetables are softened, you can prepare a dog-friendly plate for your pup. Also, be cautious of other potential dangers, like grapes, raisins, bones, xylitol, and alcohol.
Wishing you and your pets a wonderful Thanksgiving!
