With Halloween just around the corner, we would like to share some tips to keep your pets safe during this spooky holiday:
Keep Candy Away: Ensure that all candy, especially chocolate and sugar-free sweets containing xylitol, is out of reach. These can be toxic to pets.
Costume Caution: If dressing up your pet, make sure the costume fits properly and doesn’t restrict movement or breathing. Avoid anything with small parts that could be swallowed.
Secure the Environment: With trick-or-treaters coming to the door, keep pets in a secure area to prevent them from escaping. A calm space can help reduce their stress.
Glow in the Dark: If your pet goes outside, consider using reflective gear or glow-in-the-dark accessories to ensure they’re visible to others.
Avoid Decorations: Keep decorations that could be harmful—like fake spider webs or small objects—out of reach, as pets might chew on or swallow them.
