How the behavior modification smartphone app works

Your Hidden Pet Fence professional will download the Link™ smartphone app to your phone and connect your dog’s fence collar. The collar connects to your phone via Bluetooth connection.

We will then walk you through the features used for behavior modification. There are buttons to activate the sound warning as well as many sensation settings.

Any time your dog is wearing their collar and you have your phone within Bluetooth capabilities, you will be able to activate the dog’s collar to correct naughty behavior.

The most common behavior our customers use this for is jumping on guests at the front door. Many dogs will respond to the sound warning activated by the touch of your phone. If the sound doesn’t do the trick, you may activate a physical sensation set to a level that is appropriate for your dog.

Whether they are jumping on guests, barking uncontrollably at the front door, digging in the garden, or stealing food from the counter, consistently using the Link app will help tremendously with modifying your dog’s bad behaviors. If you have multiple dogs, each one will have their own profile on the app, making it easy to click back and forth between them.

Easy collar adjustments for your Hidden Pet Fence: If you need to change the settings on your dog’s collar, a representative in our office can send updates directly to your phone to update the collar remotely.

Diagnostic testing station: The Link™ collar is rechargeable and the charging station also acts as a diagnostic device. Every time you charge your dog fence collar, the charging station runs tests to ensure your collar is working properly.
